RUC - Retrospective Injury on Duty Medical Assessment Appeal

Post by tuscar on Sat Feb 25, 2017 4:29 pm

Hi All

Recently, I had to attend an assessment with an SMP in Belfast, having applied for a Retrospective Injury on duty pension. The SMP has concluded that my back and neck problems are due to degeneration as a process of ageing and not as a result of two on duty car crashes, that I was involved in 1990 and 1991.

So at the moment, I am considering an appeal.  Can any former RUC members  recommend a solicitor for the appeal process. Obviously, there is a firm that springs to mind E and C, but are they really any good ?

All replies are very much appreciated.
